Lake Blanche by parkflavor Lake Blanche by parkflavor
Sunset at Lake Blanche from back in August. I had been wanting to go backpacking here for a while so I could catch both sunset and sunrise without having to hike in the dark and it turned out to be fantastic, even if there were no clouds. Sunrise wasn't too good since the peaks are too high for the sun to really light anything up, but sunset was great. I'm going to try again this summer and hopefully will find some nice clouds to go with the scenery.

nice !
sometimes clouds would ruin the reflection in a scene like this with those sweeeet rocks in the foreground being hidden with their reflection ?

Great scenery, perfectly executed. The warm tones and wonderful reflections make this one stand out like a In-N-Out Double Double under a million of other cheeseburgers.... haha! Sorry, couldn't help it as I find myself hungry... :D

Beautiful comp, color, detail, light...This would look really awesome as a vertical too with those rocks in the foreground.
