Jacob Hamblin Arch by parkflavor Jacob Hamblin Arch by parkflavor
Coolest arch I've ever seen. Hands down. Sometimes I come across things that I just don't know how to fit in the frame and still make it look clean because they're just so big. Jacob Hamblin arch was one of those things.

Love your angle of being inside the arch! Not sure I've seen that angle on this arch before. Great accent with the green as well.

Dude, didn't know you were on DA. This is fantastic. I think this is in Coyote Gulch, if I'm not mistaken?

Yep, you should get down there if you haven't already. Definitely one of my favorite places.

Indeed, I've been through ~30 or so miles of the Gulch. Saw this, Steven's Arch, Teacup Arch (as I believe it's called), and the formations of several developing slot canyons. Unfortunately, I went with a group of people that just seemed to want to get through it as quickly as possible. I felt rushed and annoyed the whole time I was going through. I'll probably return sometime next year. . . if I have the time.

Coyote Gulch. There are a couple ways to do it, but we did the whole thing round trip on a two-nighter. Highly recommend it!

I have heard a lot about coyote gulch and it is high on my list of hikes. How many miles round trip was it?

26, I think. We started at the Redwell trailhead, then went down to the confluence, and exited at Redwell. We camped both nights on the backside of this arch. I recommend Redwell over Hurricane Wash if you ever make it up there.

Yeah I was reading that the Redwell trailhead is the easiest and most scenic route. I need to plan a trip through there. Any suggestion on time of year what would be the best?

Probably spring or fall, just like pretty much everywhere else in the southwest. Too hot in the summer and too cold in winter.

Yeah, I figure fall would be nice for some colors in the canyons.
