I don't know about you guys, but I think the film versions of my photos always come back with better color than the digital versions. You can compare this to my last post. The film does such a great job of picking up the cooler colors on the bottom here.

You're right, the color is so much better in this version. So is the general depth.

no doubt about it - the detail in the film version is way better - but both have there pluses (?) - the color saturation in the digi is cool ! - one question why pano ? IMO you lose a of of the rock formation above the granary which gives it it's name (?)
did you get a chance to go to falling roof ruin - not far from here ?

I have to agree that the film looks much better as far as color and detail. This is down in the Grand Gulch area, Right?

amazing capture :D what do you think made the grounds red-ish as well in the digital shot? was it a white balance thingy? i should say that for all your other photos (and in general, as well), the film version is much richer and better, but i would go with the digital for this one shot.

Yeah, it probably had a bit to do with the white balance. The film definitely does a better job of picking up the cooler colors.

Film definitely picked up better colors. Though from comparing both it looked like the digital had more saturation in the reds (that is if you processed either to any extent). I still think the film version is better as it caught the variation of cool to warm tones.
